OUR HISTORY

Tradition and innovation

"Bordogna was founded on the river Oglio by Ottorino Bordogna, who opened his workshop in Palazzolo sull’Oglio, his native village, in 1943. He started with the production of metal components for the textile industry, as well as radiators for hydraulic applications. In the 1950’s the main activity was the processing of metal sheet. In 1955, with the help of his son Tullio, the firm turned from a little ”workshop” into a manufacturing concern. Following the transformation process, the purchase of modern machinery, the increase of the production capacity and Ottorino and Tullio's ambitious projects gave rise to the need of a new production site in the South area of Palazzolo, that eventually became the current industrial area of the village. "

An ever-expanding company

In the late 70s, thanks to the experience gained in military the supply, Tullio decided to start a new adventure in the security sector. He entrusted his technicians with the design of safes and armoured cabinets, launching a new brand and creating a sales network. Mid-1980s, Tullio’s sons, Alberto and Riccardo, joined the company, thus changing and widening the product ranges and consequently allowing Bordogna S.r.l. to enlarge its sales network in Italy and abroad.

COMMERCIAL AND PROFESSIONAL SECURITY

Bordogna Carpentry Division produces spare parts, frames and bases for machines of every industrial sector. Thanks to the dimension of its plants, it is able to produce and store big structures.
SECURITY FOR OIL & GAS SECTOR

Thanks to the experience gained in the passive security sector, Bordogna widened the product range with specific products for gas stations.
CARPENTRY DIVISION

Bordogna Carpentry Division produces spare parts, frames and bases for machines of every industrial sector. Thanks to the dimension of its plants, it is able to produce and store big structures.
PAINTING DIVISION

The Industrial Painting Department carries out the powder coating in aerial chain, with a capacity of 4000x900xH2100 and weights up to 400 Kg, respecting customer's requests or defining customized painting cycles.

Bordogna Trading S.r.l. defined and developed its quality management system. Following the auditing of the DNV (certification institute accredited by SINCERT), the system was declared to be in compliance with the norm UNI EN ISO 9001:2015. The ISO 9000 family includes a set of rules and guidelines for the management and implementation of companies' quality management systems, developed by the International Standards Organization with the aim of improving the efficiency of the manufacturing processes and the service provision.
The company owns the European product certification ECB•S and the NOS (Security Clearance) certification issued by the National Safety Authority till the top secret NATO level. The quality management system certification demonstrates the company’s will to provide not only high quality products (many of them certified according to the European norm EN 1443-1 and EN 14450), but also a service that meets the high level customer’s requirements.
